Customer Reviews:
2 out of 5 stars OK sound quality, terrible noise cancelation   April 27, 2010

These are fairly inexpensive noise canceling headphones and you really get what you pay for. Sound quality is fair to good, but noise canceling is truly terrible. When it is turned on, the headphones start producing a weird white noise that might drown out other white noise (airplane for example), but is absolutely horrendous in a quieter environment. Additionally, activating the noise cancellation feature amplifies human voices. This becomes quite annoying after a very short period of time and renders the noise cancellation feature utterly useless. As another reviewer mentioned, you can afford to leave these on a bus. Next time I'm on one, I might just choose to do so.

4 out of 5 stars Great or the money   February 25, 2010

I have owned these headphones for about 2 years. They sound very good with excellent lows and decent highs. The noise canceling feature is only adequate but it does work. I am a former audiophile and recommend these as good low cost noise canceling headphones at a low price.

4 out of 5 stars My second pair.   January 30, 2010

This is my second pair. My wife likes to use my HN-505 while inflight, so I needed to get another pair. The noise cancelling feature works well and makes the inflight movie more enjoyable. Even when not watching a movie or listening to music, the noise cancelling feature helps create a more peaceful environment, making it easier to relax and even get a little sleep. I also like the way these fold down to a small, compact size and fit nicely in my carry-on luggage. They are a great value!

4 out of 5 stars A great deal for the price   January 23, 2010

For not that much money these are far superior to annoying ear buds, and still better than the crummy headphones from the local retailer at similar price. For tinnitus seekers, it has a battery powered internal amp that will really rock the cochlea. Of course they're not as good as the Bose products, but they are so affordable you can lose them on the bus and not be too upset about it.
