The Bose earphones where better than I expected because it was my first time buyer of Bose headphones.Maybe next time I'll get the noise cancelling headphones,when their on sale.

I bought these because I was looking for a super comfortable pair of headphones. You can actually try these headphones on at any bestbuy. They are one of only a handfull of headphones you can try on (which is an important thing when dropping this much money).
They are hands down the most comfortable headphones I've used ever (and I've tried on every pair at bestbuy). I can wear them for plenty of time without hurting my ears. They swivel well to conform to my ears.
I was very impressed by the sound quality. I haven't listened to a lot of high-quality headphones but these are definitely the best pair I have listened to. It even sounds better than a lot of regular speaker systems out there.
I was disappointed at the construction. They seem just a tad flimsy (especially with the constant folding and unfolding). The cord is horribly easy to tangle and short (however, i could easily replace that which is a nice feature).
The biggest problem is that they are too too TOO expensive. They are so expensive that I worry about breaking them constantly (Because, I can't afford another pair).
Bottom line...If you got the money, buy it.

These are not the sound cancelling headphones, however I don't hear anything else when these are on. I have used these as just ear muffs when my roommates are to loud and I am trying to sleep.

These are some of the most comfortable headphones I have ever used, and have superb sound quality. It blocks out a nice amount of sound - I have no problems listening to my music in the noisy subways and streets of Manhattan.
I can wear for an hour straight without my ears being sore. They do warm your ears up though, and can make them a bit sweaty and have the leather sticky effect when it's really warm outside. Works perfectly though when it's cold outside, since it doubles as an ear warmer.
I've had these headphones for about 9 months.

Bought these for my wife for Christmas. She liked the way they felt when she put them on and it was pretty much all she wanted for Christmas. The sound is nice but I can't hear a big difference between them and other less expensive headphones. I'm not a big Bose fan because I feel most of their products are overpriced. However, my wife loves them and she's happy so I'm happy.
