Unpleasant experience July 1, 2010 Richard Labov (Ridgefield, NJ USA) I very carefully slit open the package and carefully removed the ear buds to try them. The ear buds kept falling out of me ears even when trying the smallest sized adapters provided.
When I asked permission from the provider ANTONLINE to return the earbuds they refused stating that I had destroyed the packaging.
This therefore is an extremely unsatisfactory vendor. When I told them I was going to post this review they finally sent me an RMA number, but by this time I had thrown away the product.
Good Sound, Poor Quality June 18, 2010 E. Gebow (Seattle, WA United States) I purchased these ear buds less than a year ago. The sound and mic are amazing. BUT, they don't last...
Size - Purchased two sets. None of the three sizes of plastic ear bud covers fit my husband's ears, and the headphones were returned. With similar ear buds, harder-to-fit ears seem better served by Sennheiser phones.
Quality - Within three months, the plastic ear bud covers got loose, and were lost. They had to be replaced with a smaller size that didn't fit as well. The ear buds were religiously stored in the provided case, but within 8 months, sound was lost in the right ear bud (primary side with mic) making the headset useless.
For the price and the quality, we've had better success with the cheap iPhone headsets or Sennheiser.
If I could return the headset, I would.
Faulty Wiring At The Jack - Noisy Cord March 22, 2010 tridentnyc (Brooklyn, NY) These are my second pair of these phones. The first I had to return for a warranty replacement after six months because the wire developed a short right where the wire meets the jack in which I could only hear the left ear. Five months after getting the replacement the same exact thing has happened again.
Logitech ought to know better that that area of the cord needs to be reinforced as it gets the most strain during use. Otherwise the phones have very good sound quality and the buds fit my ears very well.
My other complaints is that the button is placed way too low down making it very unintuitive to reach for, I found myself constantly searching for where the button was, making it pretty distracting. Also, the material the cord is made from makes too much noise when brushed up against clothing, forget about running or jogging with these due to the excessive amount of noise the cord produces.
If you do buy these, plan on returning them in six months or so for warranty repair/replacement due to a most certain shorting issue.
AWESOME! March 21, 2010 S. McDonnell (San Francisco, CA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love these headphones... They have great sound quality, and a simple click of a button lets me play music or answer the phone. I don't go anywhere without them. The microphone is also great... the only negative is that there is no volume control on the headphones, so minus one star for that.
Avarage at best, Not worth more than $20 February 15, 2010 Y. Erez (New York) I've had a lot of headphones in my day, ranging from $5 sony walkman headphones to my current set of $250 Klipsch X5, and when my Klipsch file went due to wear and tear I had to get another pair while I'm waiting for the Klipsch warranty to replace them for me.
These seemed like an adequate replacement in the mean time but they're really not. A few problems with them are:
- TOO BIG, they just feel bulky. The cable is too thick and rigid and all the plastic in-ear tips are much too big, I'm lucky I had smaller ones left over from my X5's that I could mount on them otherwise they would have been unusable.
- AWFUL CASE, this plastic case that's suppose to hold my headphones broke the second I opened the box, now it doesn't stay shut anymore and it's pretty much useless. To the trash.
- LOW QUALITY, the sounds quality is very unimpressive, you can tell you have a bad set of headphones when they decide to boost up the bass and give you that fake "full" feeling, but when you get down to it, the audio range here is about the same as your average iPod headphones.
If these were $20, they'd be a nice deal. But for what they're selling now, FORGET ABOUT IT.
