High Quality,Worth The Price August 25, 2010 Bob Whitley (San luis obispo, CA) If you listen to music as much as i do that means you most likely take your mp3 player or smartphone with you everywhere, you want high quality sound with lightweight earbuds,THIS is what you need! These little puppies go right in your ear and deliver excellent sound that is not only clear but also filled with bass you would expect from heavy duty headphones.Other than how great they sound the other reason to buy these is the comfort factor, the earbud covers are made from thin rubber that mold perfectly to your ear canal. The covers help keep the buds in place, add to the overall richness of the music and also do a great job of blocking out external noises. There are a few extras that come with these such as a pouch,a clip and some more bud covers, whatever, nothing special really but then again who cares.V-Moda did an A+ job when making these earphones,i really can't say anything negative about this product.A MUST HAVE FOR MUSIC LOVERS ON THE GO!
Solidly-built and pretty July 28, 2010 Joel Anderson (Wyoming, MI USA) I bought these ear buds about a month ago to replace the aging, worn-out ones that came with my mom's red iPod. For the color, they are a perfect match. For build quality, they are quite impressive, not seeming as flimsy and delicate as other ear buds I have known (including the more-expensive pair that I use myself, Etymotics ER-6i). I had a brief chance to judge their sound quality before turning them over to mom. Judging by some of the reviews I had read, I expected to be blown away. I wasn't, although it was quite true to the source material. Mom likes these, and she listens mostly to country and easy-listening. Overall, I think they provide good value for the price.
Very comfortable, sounds good, and fits well June 21, 2010 Jason Stokes (St. Louis) I was impressed by these. After languishing with my white iPod headphones for years, I finally figured I'd upgrade to something a little bit better. These are nice little earbuds, and for the price, are really good.
Pros:
- Carrying case. This is huge, since it's way better than wrapping them around my iPod.
- Sport hooks. They won't fall out when I'm running!
- Great sound, much improved over the Apple earbuds, and full, deep bass (well, best it can be from earphones), along with good highs and mids.
- Plenty of options for them to perfectly fit my ears. I appreciate that.
- A long cord with plenty of reach, and plenty of space in the "divided" area when the earplugs split off from the main cord. They don't get twisted or wrapped up very easily, since the cord is nice and thick.
Cons:
- Part of the metal on the earbuds is kind of uncomfortable if you don't have the plastic parts set right. They hurt after lots of wearing.
Overall, great earbuds, good design and color, but most importantly, they've got all the required functionality.
Very comfortable, nice sound! June 11, 2010 Candace Beauchamp (Austin, TX) Using in-ear headphones in the past has always caused pain in my ears after a few minutes. I've never really been picky about headphones. One set is basically like any other, right? I will never make this assumption again.
The very first thing I noticed when I opened the box was 4 sizes of cushions to attach to the V-Moda Remix Earphones. I tried all the different sets before finally settling on the size just smaller that medium. What a difference! I can wear these headphones for hours and not get that achy feeling I would get after just a few minutes with other headphones.
Here are something things I really liked about the V'Moda Remix Earphones:
1.) The color. In a sea of bland, white in-ear headphones the brilliant red is very refreshing.
2.) The cushions. Not only are there 4 different sizes, but there is a replacement set for each size!
3.) Angled jack. This makes it really easy to find where your headphones are plugged in and even easier to unplug them.
Sound quality is also very nice. I listen to a wide range of music (classical to metal and everything in between) and the trebles are high without sounding tinny. The base response on these are also very nice. Instead of a base "thud" you get a nice "boom".
The noise reduction on these earphones is also very nice. It is also the main reason why I won't get another set for use on my computer. Sometimes you need to hear what is going on around you.
If you are looking for nice sounding and comfortable earphones to use while exercising or just chillin' to music, give these a try. They are definitely a nice replacement for the iclone earphones you see wandering around everywhere.
Surprisingly Great June 1, 2010 Bornintime (The East Coast) I am a music lover but not an earphone expert, mostly because I am unwilling to spend more than $100 for a set. I do spend a lot of time listening to my ipods and, of course, think that the standard set included with all ipods sound atrocious. My experience with other cheapy phones is similar, so I knew I needed to spend a little bit more money to get something decent. I have been very pleased with Apple's higher end phones, initially the $40 upgrade and more recently the $80 in-ear phones with remote and mic. I tried the $90 Bose set and was very disappointed with the lackluster sound and returned them, content to use the Apples. When Amazon Vine offered me a free pair of these V-Moda's it was a good chance to try another mid-priced set without any risk. After the disappointment with Bose, a respected name in audio, I was very surprised at how great these sound. Both high and low end sound fantastic. I lean toward liking a bit more treble, but I appreciated the somewhat heavier bass with these. Both rock and softer acoustic sound crystal clear, even at high volumes. I think these may be a bit livelier than the high end Apple phones, and I have absolutely no complaint with those. The construction seems durable and the in-ear fit is great, with 4 different sizes sure to fit your ear. They block out external noise very well for a great listening experience. I think these are a good value for the money and, unless you have much more money to spend, you will be pleased.
