5 out of 5 stars Good Match for the Bose Head Sets   July 14, 2010
    SJA (New Jersey)
I am really please with this Headset. I travel both by Amtrak and by Airplane and the Noise Canceling feature works well on both. I also find the headset to be fairly comfortable. Generally, I find headsets or earbuds to be uncomfortable with generally poor sound, but these are well worth the money. Probably not as good compared to the Studio units but for portability and use with my MP3 player, which happens to be my Smartphone, I am pleased with this purchase. Much cheaper than the Bose and just as good as I have listen to the comparable units as well.

Excellent headphones. Noise cancellation feature could be better but this is a very good product. I recommend it.

5 out of 5 stars Great noise cancellation   July 10, 2010
    M. Amick (MidWest)
Just used on US / Asia trip and loved them. Buddy had Latest Bose QC15 and we couldn't tell difference in noise canceling. Sony Much more comfortable. I wore most of 20 hrs no problem (ears bigger than normal. No low rumbling sound from other reviews. Great nc headphones.

    4 out of 5 stars I like it   July 9, 2010

After I read others review, I decided to buy one for myself. The exterior is perfect. It is very comfortable, the quality of sound is good for classic music (very clear), but poor for the bass. The haadphones work very well. The Noise- cancelling system just OK, not as well as Bose's QC-15.

    4 out of 5 stars Sony nc60 vs. Bose QC2   July 2, 2010
    J. Shinzato (No Cal)
I've had been using the Bose QC2s (over the ear model before QC 15s) for approx 3 years for intl flights. I was crushed when they were stolen during a home robbery. I chose these Sony's to replace and were quite pleased with the results. Comparisons to comfort and ease of use are very similar, if not the same. I'd say the sound quality is slightly better with the Bose, but not by much. Also, a good thing about the Sony's are that you can listen to them with the noise canceling switched off.

The only major difference is with the Sony's noise canceling, where i can hear a slight hiss (only noticeable during quiet listening or in-between songs). The hiss probably will be indistinguishable to many (such as my wife because she doesn't even hear it). Otherwise, these Sony's are well worth the price.
