Not too bad July 25, 2010 John (Grand Forks AFB) I dont buy alot of headphones and did a little bit of researching before buying these. Based on what others had said i decided to give them a try. Sounds quality is excellent. They do a really good job of keeping noise out and hearing the full aspect of what you are listening to. The medium tips fit the best and are quite comfortable for long periods of time. The fact is has an inline volume control is another great feature.
Excellent Quality for the Price July 20, 2010 L. J. Lindson (NYC) I have a true love-hate relationship with earbuds. I greatly prefer the noise isolation of earbuds and their sound quality, but have a very difficult time finding a pair that are comfortable enough. These earbuds came with the soft silicone tips. I thought that I was going to have to purchase a set of Comply foam tips for them to be comfortable, but I was pleasantly surprised. For me (with small, sensitive ears) the small silicone tips are perfect. They feel like they sit securely on the earbud for safe insertion and removal as well.
I haven't had them long, but they seem to be well constructed. The cord is very flexible and easy to untangle. I don't forsee having much trouble with the cord becoming kinked or so tangled that it can't be fixed.
The sound quality is also quite good. Many headphones and earbuds that I've tried don't have a good bass, but these do. The high notes don't sound tinny. They can also handle a good amount of volume without sound becoming distorted.
I would definitely recommend these earbuds to friends for their quality and very reasonable price.
Broke in 2 months :( July 16, 2010 Rashed Iqbal (Islamabad) These headphones had great sound quality...until the broke. The wire broke at the left earbud and the speaker jack. I have sent them in for replacement by skullcandy, but it has been 2 weeks and the status on their website has not even changed. Don't waste your money on skullcandy(i have had 3 pairs and all of them broke in the than 3 months)Get some Sony headphones instead they are cheaper and they sound better.
good sound quality but not comfortable July 15, 2010 Skizzik Just decided to buy this one after my cx300 was broken.
Good sound quality, but its not really comfortable, my ears feeling pain after using 30mins.
Do not buy July 12, 2010 Jasmine I performed an extensive search of head/earphones and finally narrowed it down to these black skull candy ones. After a month's worth of minimal use, they died--completely. Don't waste your money on this. Seriously. I never write reviews for the things I buy on amazon, so this review should be read with
much seriousness. I never dropped or maltreated these skull candy earphones in any way, p.s.!
