Nice but pay attention to some details August 15, 2010 Edwin Castellanos (Guatemala) I've owned, Bose Triport around ear, Triport earphones and the Quite Comfort, I respect the brand, and for sure they sound pretty good, I've been looking for some new pair but I didn't want to expend to much on it, I thought I will go with these headphones after reading some 15 reviews in general, here are my comments, the sound is pretty decent but you have to have a nice source in order to get a nice sound, I have my doubts with MP3 formats, I think they require more processing power to be listened in the way you expect, I found a mix of reviews still I decided to buy them, I am not entirely satisfied with the sound, I get tire pretty quickly, even my head size is pretty normal, I wold think it twice, in fact I might sell them soon in order to get a different brand, I also think they are too bulky, I really want the Triport around ear, they sound pretty good, I definitely think a price tag of $125 is kind of high, I have my questions about durability, in fact is one of the most criticized areas of the Triport, but is kind of hard to get both. However, this are ok, but, not as good as you might expect for the brand.
Perfect for Ipod users June 11, 2010 Chelsea (CA, USA) If you are looking for some killer cans for your ipod, these are it. I absolutely love everything about these, from the sexy design (perfect for both dudes and chicks) the heavy duty plug, the amazing sound, the length of the cord, and the cost, I couldn't recommend them any more. I am newer to quality headphones, but I have been researching for months, and I gave every brand a chance, I have just found that these exact headphones were perfect for what I want them for. I would compare the design to the Dr Dre Beats, I fell in love with the design of those headphones but not the quality for the price or the fake overemphasized base, I made it a goal to find ones that had a similar design and an amazing quality to match, and it seriously couldn't get better then these.
If you are looking for big base headphones, these are not it, although I like the base in these, it is not a heavy base. I think personally these headphones would work for every music genre, but some people are looking for the skull candy blow your eardrum base, these are not it. If you are still using the ear buds that came with your ipod, you will be more then overjoyed with the sound quality, even if you have been using high quality headphones for a while now, I don't see anything wrong with these for personal use, you really wouldn't need any higher quality unless you are a DJ or doing studio work.
These are my new best friends, they block out all interference of my life and replace it with sweet beautiful music.

These headphones look cool and they're pretty comfortable. Most of the reviews on here would make you think you're getting a pretty good set of headphones, but I just can't see it. What "professional" would use headphones with such lousy, distorted bass? I adjusted my ipod's admittedly basic equalizer settings, but had no luck improving the sound. The bass booster in particular made things even worse; I laughed out loud at how muddy the music became. The sound from these actually reminds me of something just above earbuds; not quite bottom of the barrel, but you could do better at almost any price. I returned these the same day I bought them and I'll be getting something else.
Satisfaction! April 30, 2010 Aurora Black (Detroit, USA) Within days of ordering, my Shure SRH240 Headphones arrived in perfect condition and have more than lived up to my expectations. The headphones aren't tight around the ears/head (in fact, they provide much welcome breathing room - but not too much), and the cups effectively block out background noise. The sound quality is amazing. In my experience, the headphones allow me to hear every little note and whisper (for music as well as TV/DVD movies/online programming). I've used them daily since getting them in February 2010, and I'm still thrilled by their quality.
Where's my bass? April 24, 2010 yash 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
All the reviews I read about this headphone talk about the bass (or the lack thereof). I thought maybe the people just had unrealistic expectations. However, when I started listening to my music on these headphones, I realized that the headphone truly under delivers on the bass front. My much smaller Koss PortaPro Headphones with Case had better bass than this monstrous thing. And although the highs and mids are pristine, the little bass I ended up getting on using the "bass booster" equalizer on my ipod touch 2G ruined the experience. Even the tiniest amount of bass is distorted and hollow instead of being nice and deep. So I'm putting these headphones on the facebook marketplace and Craigslist. I don't want it anymore.
Pros: Made a separate section because the only pro I saw and bought the headphones for this very reason, is the way the connector/jack is reenforced with the cable. My previous headphones have undergone much abuse from going in and out of my jeans pocket. And this thing looks like it will definitely hold up unlike others.
