| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Pure audio precision--the SE530 uses Triple TruAcoustic MicroSpeakers to create an expansive sound stage. A dedicated tweeter ensures that highs and mids are incredibly accurate and detailed, while dedicated dual woofers provide balanced, full-bodied bass. The Push-To-Hear Control (included with the SE530PTH) adjusts levels of external sound for maximum intelligibility.

Excellent when it works September 1, 2010 Henri Roger Savin (Boston) I have used this set for about six months and one ear started to have issues with a short or something like that.
I find it highly disappointing to have such an expensive system fail me after such a short time. Since then, I have not used it much indeed.
Not worth the price August 23, 2010 Sean Look I purchased these about 2 years ago and what I can tell you now is that they aren't worth the money invested.... I'll tell you why...
At first they were great and produced great sound quality...
Then after about a 9 months of just about everyday use (listen to music while I am on the computer working) the rubber on the ear buds started falling apart... I couldn't believe it I spent nearly 400 dollars for these ear buds and they just started falling apart within a year.
About a year into having these the volume control piece started shorting out and became worthless to use.. so I bypassed that although that part sucked for plane rides that I was taking at the time.
about a year and a half into having these earphones the longer extension cord got worn and now the male end doesn't fit correctly into the female end cleanly and I lose sound in the right ear... so I replaced this with a radio shack extension.... works but seriously I spent 400 dollars on these things...
Now I have replaced them with some 35 dollar creative earbuds and although the sound isn't quite as crisp they work...
Now just so you know, although used on a daily basis they were always kept in the original case that it came with to protect them from any wear... They aren't worth it... the durability is pathetic to say the least...
Now for the comfort of these ... the whole wire going behind the ear takes a while to get used to but eventually the discomfort passes...
Pros: Great sound
Cons: Price

BEST EARPHONES MONEY CAN BUY August 22, 2010 Aaron Friedman (Florida, USA) I have tried many in-ear headphones including custom pair costing over $1000. These are the warmest and most natural sounding headphones I have heard.
Excellent Sound August 5, 2010 Edward K. Lo I own this headphones for more than a month now. I have other brand high-end headphones before so I have something to compare with.
At first, when I wear this headphones, the sound was flat, nothing I would suggest this is a great headphones like all the other reviews stated. I thought my hearing are bad.
The headphones by default, has a foam type ear-tips attached. It is comfortable, so I had been using it for as long as I have it. Sometimes, I switched to other tips but I always switched back to the foam tips ones as they are more comfortable and have better sound. However, the sound is still flat, especially on the bass side.
Today, just for the heck of it, try to put on the double-flank tips again. I had tried that before, it didn't fit and the sound was terrible. I don't know why, but today, I talked to myself, I must be not wearing it right. So I try to put on the double flank ear tip again, but this time, I really really pushing it into my ear. Oh My God, the sound is day and night. Now I am enjoying all the great sound of this headphones, the bass, the mid and the high are so well presented. I did not realize I did not wear my headphone right before. You really have to push it hard so that it is really push thru to your ear.
There is a trick how to wear double-flank ear tips. You lift up the ear before you insert the ear tips, that way, the tip can goes in much easier. You will not need to wrestle the tip that much.. For those of you who are not happy with the sound, like myself before I use the double-flank tips, give it a try. You should hear the difference.
Lacks Bass August 3, 2010 T. J. McDonald (Plainfield, Il) I have to say that I was a bit disappointed with the overall sound quality when I received this. The highs and mids are strong but lacks bass!! For what I paid, I did expect more! If I had to do it all over again, I would look at the Klipsch headphones....I know they are much stronger in bass (I love strong bass). Bottom line, if you like sharp, crisp and clear and don't require much bass, these are fine. They are very comfortable and seam to be durable and do a good job with shutting out the outside noise. I am just disappointed with the lack of bass.
