 Great sound, but too big for my ears July 18, 2010

These earbuds have great sound quality, unfortunately they are pretty large and don't fit snugly into my ear, so I miss a lot of the music due to the seal. Also the reason for the clips is a little vague,ok they clip to my shirt, is that all!? The cord is also pretty long , sometimes it gets caught on doorhandles, bike handlebars and whatever sticks out .

This is an absolutely wonderful earphone/headphone set. The quality of the sound is phenomenal. I have purchase and listened to MANY earphones and headphones and this is the best!!!! Even though the price of the product is very inexpensive, the quality is astonishing.
I own and periodically listen to music using my bulkier headphones but these earphones put out better and more realistic sound quality. The earphones fit comfortably in my ears. When I use them, I also place foam covers that I purchased from my local dollar store. The foam covers serve multiple purposes such as provide a fuller sound, more comfort during extended periods of use, add stability while in my ear, and eliminate the initial shock of placing the earphones in my ear on cold days. Using foam covers also minimize the possibility of the earphones falling out while jogging (a concern/complaint mentioned by other customer reviewers).
The cord length and design of the earphone is also appreciated. The length is such that I can comfortably attach my iPod onto the belt around my waist while listening to music. Some other earphone products have cords too short that care must be taken because it doesn't allow for easy use when having on outer clothing such as coats and jackets.
The clip-on capability of each earphone is also a very nice touch when not using them. It avoids the need to roll up or bunch the cord into one's pocket during non-use.
Anyway, most importantly, the sound quality is phenomenal. When listening to music, the clarity of spoken words as well as singing voices in genres such as opera, classical, jazz, R&B, pop, rock, gospel, etc. is outstanding. The clarity of the full range of musical instruments such as wind, chimes, drums, bells, special effects makes the listener feel as if he/she was actually in the room while the sound was recorded. Obviously the enjoyment and quality of one's listening experience is contingent on the device from which the music is being played/listened to -- be it while listening from an iPod, computer, stereo, home entertainment system, etc..
So, in conclusion, this is a FANTASTIC earphone. The fact that it is so inexpensive makes it ideal for purchasing many earphones for several family members, devices and/or family members or friends. You will NOT be disappointed.
Great Price, Decent Sound, Not So Comfortable! June 20, 2010

These headphones were purchased to be my gym headphones. I purchased them because the price was very good and the reviews were also reasonable.
Pros: Great price, decent sound, and a name brand product.
Cons: Painful in my ears, no cushions, ambient noise is in no way blocked, and has an "L" bend in the headphone jack.
These headphones were a solid purchase but due to the pain they cause my ears they now warm a place in a drawer.

If you want inexpensive ear buds, these are for you. They sound nice for the money.

I am buying these for the third time! My first two pairs were "confiscated" by family members so I bought 3 more pair well over a year ago. One of those pair no longer works, but I am buying more. For 6 bucks, I don't think you can go wrong. They sound decent and fit my ears well. I've seen some comments about them not fitting, but it really depends on the shape of your ear. For me and the others in my family, these fit wonderfully. What I like most is that the material these are made from is somewhat soft, so it's not like sticking a piece of hard plastic in your ear. That has been my beef with other brands of ear buds.
