I was about to return this headphone, because the volume needs to be fairly high for it to turn on. Once I read that from the manual, that headset turns out to be a great product. Even when I take the garbage outside or move from rooms to rooms, I never lost communication with my TV. It is as clear as a wired equipment. Once in a while a little static. I am glad I bought this.

A great headset... Especially for the money February 19, 2010

This is an excellent headset. when I got mine I immedietly hooked it up to the audio out of my Sat box and I am very impressed with the sound quality. I have a range of over 200 feet (didnt go further due to restraints and sounded ok). for best results hook up to the audio out of your receiver as opposed to the output of your television. The audio will be at a constant level and will not turn on and off.

The Recharging stand is hard not a simple use. if the headset is not perfectly in there it will not charge.

I bought these to replace an old sony set of wired headphones that I use at my desk at work. I have the headphones connected to a splitter that lets me listen to my PC and my XM/Sirius Reciever at the same time.
The headphones are very comfortable and block out ambient sound very well. The sound quality is sufficient for casual listening. I don't know if any 'audio-philes' would appreciate these, but they work well for me.
The have enough range for me to sit at my desk and walk to my printer (~25 feet away), I haven't had the need to try them any farther.
Every once in a while I'll get a small 'blip' of static, or drop the connection between the headphones and the base, but not enough to cause a significant impact. I did find out that the base unit needs to be connected to the Radio Out connection and not the headphone connection. The headphones need a minimum level of volume input to maintain connection.
Overall, Id recomend these for someone looking for an inexpensive set of over-the-ear headphones and is expecting to get a little more than what they pay for.
 Headphone Transmitter Stopped Working after 5 minutes February 6, 2010

There was a hissing sound in the background coming through with the tv sound and then the headphone went silent. The transmitter light turned off. I would not purchase this product. Tiger Direct was very helpful in return of the product!!!

Here's the deal. I needed these headphones so I could watch my TV without interrupting anyone else thats sleeping in the house. A little bit of discomfort on my head but not much. The only problem is that the left ear stopped working after owning them for a week! You get what you pay for.
