Had for 2 1/2 months - the design is terrible when running to start. Not very loud, so I can still hear the horrible rap music they play at the gym. And now after having for 2 1/2 months it is broken. Also if you are using with your iphone it can have trouble going form music to a call. The thing overall was ok until now that it broke.
Supreme Headphone April 5, 2010 J. Franko Headphones are lightweight, well made, sound is fantastic, held in place over the ears very well, and easy volume control. I use these headphones daily for approximately one hour and battery lasts one week. Charging takes about 3 hours with included AC charger. Three sets of different size ear plugs are also supplied. I have my headphones married to my IPOD using a Sony transmitter. Headphones stay in place on my ears whether walking briskly or running. Bluetooth is the way to go. No cord between headphones and IPOD.
Best stereo bluetooth headset on the market March 30, 2010 Jason M. Vale (denver, co United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After a lot of research I went with the Sony DRBT160AS headphones. I wanted a bluetooth set of headphones to work with my Motorola Droid so that I can run and workout, but needed one that would stay in my ears, as well as be comfortable. Typically I can't wear traditional earbuds because after a short amount of time, they start killing me - even the ones with multiple sizes. I really like the behind-the-head type headphones and these have not disappointed. I can run, sprint, ride, or whatever and these stay in place. Much like other reviews say, they sound good, but they're not replacing my high end wired headphones that I listen to at work. What they do, they do well, which is being a comfortable, portable, lightweight, wire-free set of headphones that put out good sound. Also, while using with my Droid, all bluetooth functions perform great, including track switching, accepting calls, auto dial last call, etc.
Comfortable and roomy March 22, 2010 Thomas A. Bush (Sebring, FL) I like to use my Ipod to listen to podcast while mowing the lawn. When I first tried these on I thought they wouldn't be loud enough. By they do such a good job blocking out external noise, that the sound level is fine, even with a Toro mower. They are so light, you'll forget they are on.
Good For Music, But That's About It March 19, 2010 G. Roberts 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought these headphones because I wanted a Bluetooth solution for working out. These are good and bad for that. Good because sound quality is great, bad because of the fit. They constantly slide down the back of your head. They are meant to wrap around the back of your head, but they don't hold on tight. I actually glued a little clip to the bill of a hat, and I wear my hat backwards and clip the headphones into the clip of my hat. Once I do this, the headphones are amazing to work out in. But without that little modification, they would be terrible. I just want a decent cordless solution to listening to music during a workout. This isn't the best.
As for phone calls, don't bother. Everyone sounds great on my end, but I constantly have people asking if they're on speakerphone, or saying they can barely hear me, or the sound quality is awful, and I end up having to take them off. I have yet to find a single Bluetooth device that didn't have people asking me to take it off so they can actually hear me.
