Like many others I was looking for wireless headphones to allow me to hear a TV program at a volume suitable for me and not too much for others in the room. I bought the Sylvania SYL-WH930GB wireless headphones hoping that the negative reviews I read were overstated. My sincere apologies for doubting anyone who wrote a negative review of this product. I wish I had listened to you!
This is the first time I've ever returned a product to Amazon. I disliked these headphones that much. I got them to work ONE TIME listening to music on my computer. I never got them to work on my TV or home stereo. The problem is that the FM receiver built into the headphones picks up every signal in your area before it finds (if it ever does find) the signal coming from its own transmitter. The result is you have to spend a lot of time and frustrated effort trying to find the signal you want to listen to. In the end, I came to the conclusion that I would waste more time trying to lock on to the correct signal than watching the programs I was trying to see.
These headphones were completely useless to me. I returned them and bought the Cables Unlimited 900MHz Wireless Stereo Headphones (SPK-9100). They are not perfect (they are bulky and can become a little uncomfortable over time), but they do exactly what I want. Sound quality is good and the connection between the transmitter and headphones is easy and almost instantaneous.
I would not recommend the Sylvania SYL-WH930GB wireless headphones. Don't waste your time.

I bought these headphones so I could listen to my TV without disturbing anyone else with the high volume. They come with a built in FM radio that works constantly, except in the off position. After installing the transmitter the instructions tell you to switch the headphones to the "R" position to listen to the built in radio and to the "H" position to listen to the TV or other audio source. The instructions tell you that the indicator light will turn red for radio and green for TV, the problem is no matter what color the light is or no matter what position the the switch is in the radio is playing constantly. I tried hooking up the transmitter to my satellite box, same problem, the headphones do not work at all except to hear the radio. If you want a radio with 1970s technology this is the product for you. If you want wireless headphones for any other audio source I would pass this product by.

I bought these for twenty dollars. I wasted twenty dollars. Only the right ear transmitted sound. It does not transmit through walls nor does it withstand 100 feet, it has trouble recieving transmit from five feet away. Don't buy these, unless you like wasting money on headphones that don't work.

It takes a little practice to get it to work right but then it's OK. Sound quality isn't great but I didn't think it would be for the price. Overall it's good and would buy it again.
