Good value for the money.March 10, 2010 Robert W. Reutebuch I would like to be able to purchase and AC adapter for the base unit. The range is good. I get decent coverage all over my little chunk of the American Dream. I get some interference from electrical appliances, but not too bad.

Beware of ear blow-out on some TV channels. Sometimes all of the sudden it will phase out and massive static comes through. I have discovered how to fix by tuning into different channels. Also, if you keep your hands away from your ears this tends to help (I know what you're thinking - how do I do this?) Good luck :)
If I had to do over again, I might look for a unit that has some sort of tuning dial instead of just two buttons.

The only complaints i have is that there is a lot of feedback on the line and it takes some careful positioning of the unit to try and drown some of that noise out. And the batteries go fast if you leave the units on so make sure and turn them off after use. But good for a low end pair.
