I replaced an old pair of wireless headphones with these. The old ones had a lot of static; these are static free. The headband and earpieces are very comfortable. I was able to plug them directly into the back of our newer TV which makes them very easy to use. The recharging base is a great idea, although we just switch out rechargable batteries so the headphones themselves stay close; however, the batteries last a long time. Best yet, my husband likes the exact opposite shows that I do--the more shooting, etc the better; and the louder the better. With these, he is happy and I have peace and quiet. So far, great product.
 Great headphones but poor design March 4, 2010

The headphones themselves are great. Comfortable, excellent sound. The problem is with the recharging base. The design is awkward to use due to the angle of the unit. You can't just put the headphones on the base unit; you have to fiddle to get them connected which can take a few minutes. Headphones themselves are great value for the money but I wouldn't buy them again because of the base design.

The headphones worked okay the first time I tried them. Unfortunately, when you turn down the television, you also turn down the volume in the headphones, which still makes it hard to hear the TV. I guess, since there is no amplifier in the transmitter, turning the headphone volume up all the way to maximum is useless. The second time I tried the headphones, the power light on the transmitter failed to light, which prevented the headphones from receiving any signal. The third time I tried to use them, the light worked again, and they operated just like the first time. They are huge, and look hideous, but are comfortable to wear. The range on the reception is outstanding, as you can walk into different rooms, and behind doors/walls, and the phones still pick up a fairly clear signal. If the volume could be raised louder, these would be a five star.

I got these headphones as a birthday gift for my husband but in the end it was a gift to me so I could fall asleep
without hearing the TV. We both love them! The battery lasts forever, the sound quality is great and they are very comfortable. I am very glad I didn't spend $75 for another model becasue these are perfect for what we were looking for!
