Excellent Buy April 2, 2010 John Brown (Trinidad) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This head phone is very convient for movements around your turntable I would recommend this to DJs who cannot afford a more expensive headphone. The only problem is that the battery on the headphone runs doun quickly you may have to walk with extra batteries or do rechargables
Don't give up on the HO900 wireless headset!!! February 26, 2010 Thomas A. Rowe (USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I recently purchased the HO900 and at first use was extremely happy with the stereo sound quality and the comfortable fit.
This was however short lived, as the unit begin to generate a very loud humming sound, that can be heard by others, even while I am wearing the headset. It didn't seem to matter where I was in the house or the distance between the transmitter and the headset.
I contacted Sentry Industries tech support via email and the only response I got was a return email with two links, one to their warranty page, which told me to read my warranty and the other to their return policy page where I was told that I would have to include a $5.00 check for return shipment of the return/replaced HO900.
In the end, I solved the loud humming sound by replacing the low quality 2-Way Stereo Splitter that was included with the HO900, with a high quality one that has gold contacts, which I happen to have laying around in my spare part box.
Now I am back to being a extremely satisfied with the HO900!!!!
Doesn't include A/C Adapter February 5, 2010 Kathryn E. Hartman (Wyoming) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have no idea how well or how badly this product works. We have been unable to use it, because they didn't include either a battery or an a/c adapter (power plug) to power the headset and transmitter. Maybe it said this on the product summary, but I certainly didn't see it and have not gotten a chance to buy either of these items yet. It is unfortunate that they did not include a way to power the headset right away when you open the box. Other than that, they are a great price.
Save your money January 21, 2010 Brooks Heyser 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Although inexpensive, a product should nevertheless provide some reasonable use. The 9V battery terminal was misshaped to the point that I could not insert the battery without modifying it. The range is basically one-room and turning to the left or right can result in pure static for a second or two. After less than two hours of use, it died and fresh Duracell batteries were not able to revive this fatality. It now transmits well for 3 to 10 seconds when first turned on and then goes eerily silent. The adapter plug fell apart too. It was not a good day.
Worst and only item I regret buying from Amazon August 15, 2009 O. Perez (Ga, USA (figures)) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I didn't Know what to do, if cry or hit myself on the head with whatever came in the box. I always believe that wireless mean wireless. What a joke (on me)!!
