this is a toy. if you're trying to enjoy music i wouldn't recommend it May 1, 2010 Song Zheng (los angeles, CA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
when i got my hands on this headphones, i was surprised by how cheaply made it feels. the headbands were loose, and it seemed to be made of cheap plastic.
but it looks pretty cool. one point for style!
I connected it to the mini usb and charged it. It charged easily via usb and it was very intuitive.
After fully charged, i decided to give it a while. This headphones is very comforable, and you can wear it for a long time without discomfort. they also fit well over your head so it doesn't drop out of your head easily.
The bluetooth connected to my computer easily. It also connected to my phone easily. The volume control works well too.
I played with the headband. you can fold it in weird ways to make it more compact. The folding mechanics was very fun.
Then, I turned on the music, and the sound sounded really bad. It did not have bass, and all the different sounds that you hear in music disappears. You can only hear the simple melody that you get with crappy earphones.
I decided to try this headphones for a day. On my way to school, I turned on the noise canceling. I took out my headphones, and then put it on again. there was no difference. the rumbling of the engine is just as loud.
As i walk around with it, the music skips at least twice every song. ARRRGH!!!
I felt like I got cheated. I bought these headphones to listen to music, get rid of external noise, and get away from wires. But all of it didn't work out.
in conclusion
pros: easy to charge, fun to fold the headphones and play, easy to pair with bluetooth, comfortable to wear, looks good.
cons: bad sound quality, no noise canceling, bad bluetooth connection.
Music, Yes. Skype, No April 23, 2010 I. Kiebasinski (Portland, Oregon) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These were a gift for my honey. We speak on Skype a lot and I thought this would be a lovely gift for him so he can step away from his computer while we chat. I bought these because I read another review that the sound was crystal clear and that is great for Skype. So... after the deed was done and the gift was delivered we tried these for the first time on Skype. On his end it was great! He heard me clearly and they were very comfy and he was happy witht hem. However, on my end, the sound was terrible. The mic on these headphones is really bad. A lot of static and a muffled quality to the sound. We went back to the ones he had been using so that I could hear what he was saying. On the upside, however, he uses these at work to listen to music and they are WONDERFUL for him there. So, having said that, these are fantastic for music but not so great for Skype, unless you don't care how you sound to the folks you are talking to :)
By the way, both our laptops that we Skype on are less than a year old and top of the line. And yes we tweaked with some settings but it didn't help the sound quality on my end. Still very happy with the purchase, however.
Thanks.
ilov noise caneling headphones December 25, 2009 Ralph V. Smith (Western Michigan) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
these are comfortable and sound good however battery life could always be longer, As far as noise canceling part, these are not designed to be used in an noisy environment. I tried using at work ,(I work in a very noisy environment)they are not very good for that. At home or someplace where it is not too much nose they would be great.overall they are very nice.
good but forget the noise canceling... December 11, 2009 S. jacobs 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
love the sound and convinience. Range could be better. Good battery life. Noise reduction adds more noise then it eliminates. Have tried two sets and both have the same issue with poor/no/negative noise reduction. Use them w/o the noise reduction and you will love them too. Only other problem is they don't automatically connect (like my other bluetooth devices do).
Poorly designed headband September 9, 2009 W2QQ (New Canaan, CT) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
The good electronics in this headphone are ruined by the cheap, poorly designed headband. I purchased this product because I wanted bluetooth wireless headphones, with noise cancellation, in a folding design to replace my Sennheiser wired headphones. The bluetooth in these headphones works perfectly - easily and reliably pairing with my Sony iPod transmitter. The headphones charge easily from a mini-USB connector and the battery retains its charge for a good length of time. However, as noted in other reviews, all of the products good features and negated by the headband, which is cheaply fabricated and poorly designed. After only two uses, the headband refuses to stay open and is therefore extremely annoying and uncomfortable. The bottom-line: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT.
