The 2.3 system covers 600 sq. ft. of space and works with Plasma and LCD flat screen TVs and in the presence of fluorescent lights. TV Ears Patented Technology includes a revolutionary noise reduction ear tip originally developed for US Air Force pilots and is not found in any other commercially available wireless TV headset. The patented self molding TV Ears Tips creates an acoustically sealed chamber with the ear that reduces room noise and provides unparalleled comfort, cleanliness, and clarity for outstanding word discrimination so that television dialog is clear and understandable.
The lightweight 1.6 oz. ergonomically designed under the chin wireless headset has been designed for maximum comfort. It won't mess your hair or get hot on your head and has convenient volume and tone controls with 120 decibels of power making it strong enough for people with hearing loss. The TV Ears transmitter easily attaches to your television set, satellite box, or cable box and charges the headset within 1 hour. While the TV Ears are in use the television set volume can be lowered or muted without affecting the TV Ears volume. Audiologists nationwide recommend the 2.3 MHz TV Ears wireless TV listening device.
The proprietary "Voice Clarifying Circuitry" found in every TV Ears® product manipulates the high frequency sounds so that hard-to-hear words and whispers "jump out" making television dialog easier to understand.

It's awful... July 22, 2010 BLammert (Albuquerque) So I get this in an effort to help my husband sleep while I watch TV late at night. On the second day, the foam ear cover popped off never to be replaced (although I did try and I'm usually good at this kind of thing). Inside the foam ear cover, the plastic knob has a sharp little nipple on it...so to put that side in my ear, I had to get a fingernail file and file down the protrusion. Now I have a foam cover on one side and the plastic ear piece on the other...ok at least the sound works. And then suddenly a month later, it didn't work. It's charged, it is connected right because it used to work but now all I get is static and a faint sound of what is on TV. I have to try and hear what they are saying through the white noise surrounding the sound.....oh, and try and read their lips as I watch the program. It's so much trouble and I spent so much money, I'll just try and sleep!
Tv Ears July 19, 2010 T. Lochbaum My wife could not be happier with this product. Now I can listen at a volume that is confortable for me and my wife has stopped complaining the volume is too high. TV ears is all it claims. The only fault i have is the battery does not last as long as I would like. I would highly recommend TV Ears.TV Ears 10341 2.3 System Wireless Headset System (Blue)
TV Ears July 19, 2010 Patricia A Lawrence I love the TV ears - they make watching tv a brand new experience - you don't miss a thing. If one thing could be improved, it is that the ear pieces become very uncomfortable after a couple of hours.....maybe thats a hint I watch too much tV.
Love them.
Thumbs up for TV Ears July 16, 2010 Jeanne My husband likes the TV LOUD. I wear hearing aids; without them, I can hear practically not at all. With them, even adjusted, his volume is not my volume. To move to TV Ears:
I'm always reluctant to try what I consider "gimmicks" like this. On the recommendation of my brother-in-law, a satisfied user, I ordered a set. They work. I'll go beyond that--they're wonderful. I remove hearing aids, insert TV Ears plugs, and I'm in business. The sound can be adjusted to just what I'm confortable/happy with. Makes for happy TV watching, happy relationship.
Husban happy, Wife happy July 16, 2010 burt69 My husband has ringing in his ears, it helps to have the TV on most of the time, plus he can't hear too well so its loud. It just drives me crazy. I didn't want to complain, its not his fault. One night I was so annoyed, I went into computor typing, my husband listens to TV too loud. TV ears came up.After lots of research, I ordered. Folks, I gotta tell you MY husband loves them and so do I. I can mute the TV and he can hear it as loud as he wants. He also can hear every word thats said. For that reason I may order some for me.
