5 out of 5 stars Comfortable and good!   June 11, 2009

I've tried MANY types of ear buds in an effort to find something that I could comfortably wear. These, with the soft graduated rubber going into the ear, are the best I've found for both comfort and exterior noise-canceling. They're great in the gym when there's so much noise from machines!

3 out of 5 stars Different for different people   December 8, 2008

I got these on the recommendation of the technology column in a local paper. In my hands they have NO high end as delivered. Perhaps if you have a large ear canal, you may get some high end. I had to cut off the small nib on the end to get decent highs (I guess my ear canal was closing off the small nib entirely) and now they won't stay in my ears very well, but at least I'm getting decently balanced sound. You can get these things for a fiver + tx at your local Big Lots or Christmas Tree shop. Would probably make a good stocking stuffer for those with large ear canals. .bh.

1 out of 5 stars WARNING !! WARNING !! DO NOT USE THESE !! WARNING   October 26, 2007

WARNING, DO NOT USE THESE EAR BUDS!!! I bought these ear buds 2 months ago, I paid alittle more because I thought I would like the in-ear design. After 2 months of use the Tip of the Right ear bud broke off the end and dropped deep into my ear. I had to go to urgent care to have it removed and I ended up with an inner ear infection. I am on ear drops and I have to take pill form antibiotics. I would ever so highly recomend that you look for inner ear buds that are one piece that is all connected. Do not use these, I paid 15.99 for the ear buds, 120.00 for an urgent care visit, and so far 67.00 in prescriptions trying to get over the infection. Me warning you not to use these, PRICELESS!!!

I got this because it's $10 and had a rating 4/5. I'm not an audio enthusiast but I frequently listen to 192+ kbps audios. My impression after more than half a year of usage: The bass is empty and hollow. I'd think that those who claimed this headphone to have good bass is because they seem to think the hollow bass normally induced by low quality sound is sufficient. To me, that kind of bass is very bad. Because the sound is hollow, it's inadequate to really enjoy your music for long. That said, if you're looking for an affordable headphone with ok sound, to use temporarily then this headphone is fine. The ear piece fell out all the time and you have to manually push it back in. After a while, the metal piece connected to the wires fell out too. So it's not that durable. I wouldn't recommend it in anyway other than it's worth the $10 bucks you put into it, ie. don't expect the quality of a $30+ headphone. So overall: Sound quality 2/5; Durability: 2/5; Quality: 3/5; Overall Total 2/5.
