Amazon.com Product Description
Tune in the music and tune out your cares with JVC's HA-W600RF. These cordless, rechargeable 900 MHz headphones offer an extended (approximately 164-foot) range and can be used with virtually any audio/video equipment. An automatic tuning feature gives the best quality sound at all times.

A Voice Call function grants convenient communication from the base to the headset. Large, 40 mm diaphragms ensure full-bodied sound, while a self-adjusting, comfort-fit headband makes the set easy to wear. The headphones offer automatic on/off (triggered by the presence or absence of audio signal) as well as automatic charging when stationed in their base. Braille-type markings signify left and right ear pieces. Rechargeable Ni-Cad batteries are included.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent for the Price   July 8, 2010
J. Hollembeak (Columbia, MO)
These are great headphones. I can mow the lawn wearing them and can barely hear the mower - the noise cancellation is that good. They can be a bit finagly to get on the charger properly, but I soon learned the "trick" to it. You could probably buy better headphones, but at a significantly higher price...

1 out of 5 stars jvc headphones   June 29, 2010

In a word, this product is crap. Really it's not worth ten cents. After buying this product I have made a mental note to never buy a JVC product again.
You unlike me, have been warned.

5 out of 5 stars JVC Wireless headset   May 9, 2010
Alan Roth (florida, USA)
As a wireless headset to watch and listen to TV while my wife is asleep next to me in bed, this set is really good and very simple to operate. The stereo sound is very good and for those who are hearing impaired there is plenty of volume.

The only problem I had was installing the batteries as you have to take one of the ear cushions off and than reinstall it. Hopefully the rechargable batteries last a long time.

All in all this product is well worth the price and I am looking forward to having it around for a long time.

5 out of 5 stars Great Product from Amazon   May 9, 2010
Janet Zimmer (Payson, AZ USA)
Love these head phones these are the third pair I have
ordered and unfortunately the 3rd head phone would not connect
to the base. I first purchased these head phones about 10
years ago and love them..I purchased my second set about 6
months ago and still liked them and will purchase another
set for my other TV. Very comfortable to wear and when I
take my hearing aides out can hear clearly the TV. I sent
the 3rd pair back and was very pleased that I was refunded
the whole price plus shipping. Will be ordering another set
soon

4 out of 5 stars Money was well spent   May 1, 2010

My 4 year old Radio Shack headphones broke when I dropped them. They had a self charging base, cost double the price. The random static caused ear pain so I couldn't wear them directly on my ears. Also, the left ear sound stopped working shortly after purchasing them.

Last night, I used the new JVC for the first time after charging. The quality is super for the price. No static, no sound dying in/out. My husband says they are more comfortable to wear. The batteries were a bit of a challenge to place because the ear piece was difficult to maneuver. You have to exactly twist it gently. It was easy setting it on the base for charging. You simply place it on the slot and give a light little push down. We prefer keeping the headphones on its charge base when not in use. Doing this will shorten the battery life a bit but there will never be a waiting time for recharging. Like others said, read the instructions. I would not hesitate to buy another one. I consider the money well-spent.
