usable for the price May 20, 2010 MEJ (Seattle, WA USA) These are pretty handy because they are fold-able and the mic comes off. However, contrary to what others saw, I would say the stereo quality for listening to music is very poor. I haven't found their specs or the type of magnet and diaphragm, but I assume these would be at a low standard. But for Skype type applications they might be perfect!
Broke Quickly February 26, 2009 Emily R. Chandalov (Leipzig) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The headset was very comfortable to wear and the sound was excellent. However, there's a very weak joint between the two sides of the headset. The joint makes it foldable, but also very fragile. Mine snapped after just a few months of use. It's not covered by warranty so GE won't replace it.
Puts more expensive headsets to shame! October 5, 2008 D. Witkowski (SF Bay Area, CA, USA) This little headset rocks. I use them for Skype, and also for amateur radio. I've done side-by-side compares of this headset with models costing 2x - 3x from "big name" companies like Plantronics; and this model pwned them all.
I love how the microphone is removable; I've used just the mic by itself with my Dell D420 and the built-in speakers.
I agree with other reviewers that the foam covers are somewhat flimsy. In my mind this isn't a big deal; for the price of another headset with bad audio I can buy *3* of these and have spares--which is exactly what I did.
My biggest fear is that GE/Jasco will discontinue the model and not replace it with something equal or better.

Headset October 2, 2008 Vedanayagam (Miami, FL USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The GE headset feels good and it is more of a stylish concern. The performance is not too good as i had expected, but the designing of the headset is good. It looks more comfortable. If you are at the initial stage of buying a headset you can prefer this.
Great sound, but really uncomfortable April 3, 2008 J. G. (CA USA) While the sound on these is good, there is a major design flaw. The channel which the cord is run through was left open, facing the top of your ears. The result, very sharp edges pressing into your skin. I'm taking these back tomorrow.
